Matthew Laughlin
In the 7th grade, Matthew Laughlin and his classmates all had to stand up and tell the rest of the class what they wanted to be when they grew up. Matthew stood up and told his class he wanted to be an art director (whatever that heck that was!), and the classmate who stood up after him said she wanted to be an architect. Matthew knew the minute those words came out of her mouth that his answer was dumb and his classmate was on to something great!
Originally from Chicago, Matthew and his family moved West to take advantage of the beautiful California weather. He graduated from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco and stayed in the city to work for several small design firms before joining the Feldman Architecture team. Matthew, a LEED Accredited Professional, enjoys volunteering with his alumni association, drawing and painting, and is currently studying for his licensure examinations.
